Every space should inspire you to live your best life
Home is the one place we return to, again and again. Whether it is a place of quiet at the end of a long day, a space shared with family and loved ones, or simply a world of your own, it should feel like a reflection of the person living within it.
At House of P., I believe that good interior design goes beyond creating a beautiful room. It is about understanding the person behind the space, how they live, what they value, what brings them joy, and what they need from their surroundings, and translating that into an interior that feels truly their own.
There is no single House of P. style. Every project is an opportunity to discover a different story. My role is to bring together creativity, experience and design expertise to create spaces that feel personal, considered and effortless, while balancing beauty with comfort, functionality and longevity.
Because ultimately, your home should not simply be somewhere you live. It should be somewhere you feel good living in, a space that inspires you, restores you and reminds you of the life you have created.
Meet Paola
Founder, Designer & Artist
Born in Brazil and raised largely in Slovakia, I have always lived between different cultures, perspectives and influences. Today, I am based in the Costa del Sol - Spain, a place where light, architecture, Mediterranean lifestyle and international character continue to inspire me.
From an early age, I was naturally drawn to creativity: painting, drawing, color and the freedom of making something entirely my own.
As I grew older, however, I found myself moving away from that side of myself and towards more conventional paths. I explored languages, international career paths and the idea of a career that seemed practical and purposeful. Yet, despite pursuing things I was capable of, something always felt missing.
I rediscovered my love for design during a visit to an interior design and art fair in Marbella. Surrounded by interiors, objects and works of art, I began to see the possibilities of turning my creative instinct into something meaningful, creating spaces that could influence not only how people live, but how they feel.
My artistic practice has been part of that journey too. I began painting in 2021 as a way of translating emotions into something tangible through color, texture and form. Today, I bring that same creative perspective into my approach to interiors, and where appropriate, I also create original artwork specifically for a space.
Travel has been another important influence on the way I see design. Having travelled extensively from an early age, I have had the opportunity to experience different cultures, architecture, craftsmanship and ways of living across the world. Each place has left me with something: a material, a color, a detail, a tradition or simply a different way of looking at a space.
These experiences have shaped my belief that inspiration has no single origin. I draw from many places, but ultimately, every project begins with one: the person who will call it home.
DESIGN WITH INTENTION
I believe a good design begins with intention.
Every element of a space should have a reason for being there, from the way a room flows to the materials, lighting, colors and objects that give it character. I am naturally drawn to interiors that feel timeless, refined and considered; spaces that are beautiful without feeling overly designed, and that remain inviting long after the trends have passed.
But design should never be about imposing a particular aesthetic.
While I have my own creative perspective and a strong visual sensibility, I see my role as a designer as one of listening, interpreting and guiding. I want to understand how you live, what matters to you, what you are drawn to and, just as importantly, how you want your home to make you feel.
From there, my eye becomes a tool, helping to bring together the right proportions, textures, materials, colors and pieces to create something that feels cohesive and elevated, while remaining unmistakably yours.
Because a beautifully designed home shouldn't simply look like a House of P. project.
It should feel like your home, at its very best.
THE ARTIST’S EYE
Before I saw spaces as a designer, I saw them as a creative.
Painting has taught me to look differently, to notice the relationship between color and light, the balance of shapes, the quiet impact of texture, and the way seemingly small details can change the feeling of an entire composition.
That way of seeing naturally became part of how I approach interiors.
I don't believe a home needs to be filled with art to have an artistic quality. Sometimes it is found in the curve of a chair, the contrast between two materials, the way light falls across a wall, or the space left between objects.
For me, interior design is another form of composition. Every room has its own rhythm, balance and atmosphere, and I love bringing those elements together to create spaces that feel both considered and alive.
My own artwork is also part of this creative journey, a personal expression that exists alongside House of P., and sometimes finds its way into the spaces I create.
Because ultimately, both painting and interior design begin with the same thing:
the way we choose to see.
A different idea of luxury
Your home is more than a space. It is your own little world, the place where you return, recharge and live your life.
Investing in it is an investment in yourself.
Sometimes, the greatest gift you can give yourself is to create a home that has been thoughtfully designed around the way you want to live, a space that inspires you, brings you joy and makes everyday life feel a little more beautiful.
Because having a home designed for the life you want to live is a gift worth giving yourself.
